Moose Tracks

V2, Boulder,  Avg: 2.5 from 93 votes
FA: unknown
New Hampshire > Rumney > Rumney Bouldering > Black Jack Boul… > Zig Zag Area > Zig Zag Boulder

Description

Locate the blunt prow on the left side of the Zig Zag Crack face. Moose Tracks starts as a sit and moves up through crimps to a relatively low top out.

The moves are interesting and the holds are positive, which makes Moose Tracks a good tick after Zig Zag Crack.

[Hide Comment] fun climb, short but sweet, try not to use the flat rock on the ground, use the small foot on the face, makes it more fun Nov 20, 2008

[Hide Comment] I second Matt, it also helps make it feel a little more like V2. Also, gotta up my stars to 4 on this one. I think it is a true Rumney classic at the grade. Too bad it is so short. I end up hopping on it every single time I'm there... Aug 26, 2013
