If you take the 5.9 up the offwidth you gonna need some big bros Apr 23, 2015
Does anyone know if a hold has broken off of this route? I climbed it about 6 months ago and had to bail right around the bolt because I couldn't find a hand hold to advance. The arete felt much harder than 5.10c because of that. Jun 20, 2016

@NoseyTim Not that I'm aware of. there's a bomber hold that's hidden (had to throw for it) near the bolt. I climbed it in October of 2015 and I've had some buddies tell me they climbed it in the spring of 2016. Sep 19, 2016

Beautiful crack. If you have some in your party that like to "face climb" cracks, take 'em on this one. The mid section will force them to jam.

The off-width at the top is very exciting when you don't have the right gear. :)

I found this to be a lot of fun. Nov 13, 2018
