Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. Details

This is a tough offwidth with an overhang halfway up. Pretty fun.

Rappel with one rope from the anchor atop Mc-Crack-En.

This is the off width in the gully to the left of Potzo's Pudding and Mc-Crack-En.

The crack looks like it'd need a couple #6 Camalots or equivalent Big Bros.

Two #6's and a #5 are useful on this route. No Big Bros. were required.

We didn't bring the wide gear so we top-roped it after climbing Potzo's Pudding. Dec 13, 2006

All of these routes along this wall are easy to top rope and walk off on the left side as facing the cliff. Zacker Cracker is an excellent and easily protectable off width. Recommended gear would be 2x6”, 2x5”, and extra gear for the anchors. You may get away with a single 6” if your comfortable bumping gear down low. Dec 31, 2018
