Description

Awesome edges, with a cruxy start. The first bolt on Sweet Home Arizona is sometimes used by people who have trouble clipping the third bolt. Mike Strassman had the FA info (including name) up on his website a while back, but the site is down and I didn't note down who did the FA - just the name.

Location

The left sport route.

Protection

6 bolts, mussy hook anchors.

[Hide Comment] A technical thin face. The bolts seem to get closer together as the climbing eases toward the top. Very solid rock, but devious climbing. Feb 17, 2007

[Hide Comment] We did this yesterday, a great route. Vies with Mon Cherie for best 9 in the Hills.

There is more than one way to go at the crux. At the 2nd bolt I went right, up, and then back left 5 feet higher. Crux move was stepping up with two small side pulls. Russ went left here. Apr 20, 2016

[Hide Comment] Can't think of a better 9 although I still have quite a few to do. Definitely better than Mon Cherie. Nov 28, 2017
