There are no easy sections on the Energizer, it just keeps going, and going... going into the tree about halfway up makes it easier, slightly easier climbing to the anchor. Stellar and sustained.

[Hide Comment] I can't remember which, but I found the 7th or 8th bolt really awkward to clip. I enjoyed the climb though, the first half of the climb is excellent. Feb 1, 2007

[Hide Comment] The beginning seems to go two ways:

A) stay on the arete, and layback to the first bolt
B) go straight up the face to the first bolt

The rest of this climb is, as the description says, sustained. Incredible amounts of perfect stone and 5.11 climbing await the aspiring slab climber... Nov 14, 2011

[Hide Comment] Likely one of the best sustained sport routes I've ever climbed. (Likely the hardest as well). Lots of
powerful reaches with fun heel hooks. As said above, I think the 7th bolt is super awkward to clip. All of the other clips are right handed. The 7th I had to cross with my left to clip and almost fell. Jul 9, 2015
[Hide Comment] The tree is completely dead, fractured at the base of the trunk, and it's entire weight leaning on the wall via a small piece of a limb near bolt 3 or so. Jun 20, 2017
