Description

A nice 5.9 with a tricky start that makes stick clipping the first bolt a wise choice.

Starting below an arete, pull the overhanging start and continue to the top on the right face.

NOTE: this route is erroneously listed in the Chatt Steel guidebook as "Come as You Are."

Location

Starts around the corner to the right of Smoke, about 10-15 minutes walk from the beginning of the trail.

Protection

Five bolts, double anchors.

The start feels pretty hard for 5.9. The rest is all easy 5.7-8 climbing. Fun route Dec 30, 2013

Have to agree with Cajun Cookie. Stick clip the first and the start is great. May 29, 2012
Big gap between 3rd and 4th bolts. Nice holds in between but a bit of protection would provide added safety. Nov 7, 2011

Stick clip the first bolt for a bouldery start up to second bolt with a jug haul to follow. Great route for a first 5.9 lead. This is my go-to warm up route now since Fanfair and Speedway Boogie are practically impossible to get near. Aug 14, 2009
