Description

While this might not technically be in the Masters Area, it is in the vicinity. At the water tank, this boulder is on the right hand side of the road, set down the hill a bit. Tough start.

Protection

Gear for TR, but this is a boulder problem for most.

Goodness guys, this is the definition of a 5.9 crack! This doesn't compare with Robbins Crack's bottom section crux at 5.10a. Mar 27, 2007

If you sit start on the crack, it probably adds a letter grade or two of difficulty. Mar 10, 2008

Interesting movment but good problem, compared to other woodson 5.10a the stand start for this problem feels a little harder... sit start feels closer to a woodson 5.11 in my opinion. Jun 26, 2011

Ya Gary I kinda agree, execept for the fact that the start is a little over-hung. 5.9+ for me... def doesn't even come close to robbins. Sorry but even with the sit-start, no way its a 5.11, But I suppose thats the beauty of trying to rate something... lol Jul 22, 2014
