A little spicy!

Climb the face to a cruxy topout on sloping crimps. The landing is good but you won't want to come off at the top.

Up the hill from the Big Joe boulder. Walk up the trail to the boulder sitting right above the large waterfall ampitheater.

On 5/15/07 someone broke a crimp off of the top out. The climb still went just fine afterward, no change in grade. May 16, 2017
Certainly one of the classics. STARTS AT THE JUG ON THE BOTTOM! Oct 27, 2010

I did not see why this one was considered such a great problem in "A Bouldering Guide to Utah". Nothing special by Joe's standards IMO. Jul 12, 2009
The v4 is called bobcat in a kipparoo. Scary monsters is v6. Oct 10, 2008

There is a V4 that starts right of Scary Monsters and uses the right arete as well as a thin rail. Also pretty classic. Mar 30, 2007
