I'm a new trad leader (again...after a long hiatus) and I really loved this route. Super safe for a new leader because you can totally sew it up, and I thought the climbing was pretty easy - a little awkward and wide at the top, but otherwise really fun. I placed 12 pieces for the heck of it - why not?! The stances are great and it's not like you need to save anything for the anchor, so why not just practice placing pro - that's my opinion.

Oh and I agree with a previous comment that the crux is coming out of the dihedral and I used a #3. Apr 3, 2016

Great Trad Lead with Brian Baker. Crux is transition out of dihedral left onto face and up hand crack. Move to face easily protected with #3 C3 Sep 22, 2014
