Description

This route is considered the warm up at the Rat Cave. The crux comes at the beginning, a long lock off utilizing an undercling pinch to another pinch. The route follows a small left leaning channel to the first set of anchors (12a). Continue on and head straight up past another 2 bolts through more lock offs and pinches.

Location

Second route on the right.

Protection

7 bolts. all fixed

It'd be a hard 12a to the first anchors. Consensus these days seems to be 12b to the first and harder (12c/d?) to the second. Oct 25, 2011

Finishing on Tuffnerd is a nice finish to the Warmup at about the same grade. This should be called "Warmnerd" and Tuffnerd into the Warmup "Toughen Up"? Jun 26, 2009

The 12b grade reflects the difficulty to the 2nd anchor. Jan 29, 2009
