Access Issue: Working Timberland Details
April 19, 2017: Weekday access to the Gold Bar boulders has now reopened following a temporary closure to ensure public safety during harvest activities associated with the Dyno timber sale. In partnership with Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition, DNR preserved access to much of the road network hikers and climbers use to access the Gold Bar boulders. In the west forest parking area. The next boulder to the east of the West Forest Arete boulder. The boulder is right on the clearcut-forest boundary and the problem is on the west face.
