[Hide Comment] The Tunnel is an exciting and unique route. The guidebooks say pro to 2" but I was glad to have my #3 C4 for the wider crack after the step across to the main summit tower. Oct 18, 2015

[Hide Comment] This was a short climb compared to the others we did. You start on the right side of the East Face and ascend through a hole then you step across a gap to the main summit block and climb to the summit, class 5.6. May 13, 2020

[Hide Comment] This was a fun climb!
When we climbed it, there was a fixed sling + locker inside the hole (slung through another hole in the rock, seemed bomber).
After going through the hole, getting established in the next crack felt like the crux. Placing a large cam up high helped to protect it, and if you want to back out, there is that fixed sling + locker.
There was an anchor on the very the top of the rock, but lowering off of it through the tunnel seemed like it'd have rope friction. We opted to rap down the west face from the anchor on top of the rock (60m rope, double strand rap worked fine) Sep 26, 2022
