Description

Climb the low angle friable crack system in a low angle dihedral to a sandy ledge. If the rock quality were better this route would be three stars at least.

Location

Protection

Small and medium cams and stoppers. There are rappel anchors on the ledge.

As the description suggests, the rock quality is poor and the route is extremely sandy. However, the moves higher up are fun and it is a committed climb for a new trad leader. Mar 28, 2016

Good pro and fun movements but quite sandy. I didn't find that much choss, though. The rock was mostly good quality. It's just sandy and the top out is basically a beach.

Some would say the dirt makes it worse but I got some perverse enjoyment from the need to brush sand off of footholds before using them. Jun 26, 2017
