Climb the wide, exposed right angling crack/gully up the east face. Can easily be soloed and downclimbed, though a rope will make a newbie feel much more comfortable. Can be used to set up top ropes on other routes.

Take the Auxier Ridge Trail from the end of Tunnel Ridge Road to it's terminus near the base of Courthouse Rock. Scramble up to the SE point of the rock, follow a well defined trail to the right (east) until you come to a ledge where you will see this obvious route.

There's not a whole lot of gear, but the climbing is fairly easy and secure. Downclimbing is the best option to get down.

Fun route. For those who'd like some extra security, I like to set up a fixed line, using a few available pieces of pro in the crack. There are a few solid (not monolithic) trees at the top. It is easy to set up rappel down the face immediately to the left of the route, using a stout pine tree. Dec 11, 2013

Did this climb because I thought it looked fun hiking by it one day. Awesome view and pretty good "holds" even though it was wet just need a set of strong nerves because if you fall it's over but there weren't any tricky spots. Oct 28, 2016
