Access Issue: Working Timberland Details
April 19, 2017: Weekday access to the Gold Bar boulders has now reopened following a temporary closure to ensure public safety during harvest activities associated with the Dyno timber sale. In partnership with Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition, DNR preserved access to much of the road network hikers and climbers use to access the Gold Bar boulders. SDS on far right side of boulder. Head up and to the right large holds. Then traverse to the left on small horizontal crack/crimpers, (don't use the large holds to traverse to the left). Follow crimpers, that are below the large holds, to the left and then up more crimpers. Topout on left side of boulder.
At east parking area. Approximately 10 meters north-northeast of warmup boulder. Can be seen from warmup boulder.
