Description

This route is one of the best 5.10's on the Main Wall. The first bolt is a little ways up there, but the climbing is positive and straight forward. The climb is characterized by big moves on good holds. At mid height you cut left for a few moves before moving back to the anchor.

Protection

Did we mention the long reaches? With good technique, this is no problem for short folks.

The BEST 10d or even the best 10 period at Iris, perfect pocket pulling !! This as good as it get's for a "moderate" and is the "Gold Standard" for the best 5.10 at Iris Sep 10, 2006

[Hide Comment] These are very big moves if you don't your feet in the right spots. I kept expecting better holds so I wouldn't pull on the best holds available (which are pretty damn good, all things considered). Get on it. Jun 21, 2007

[Hide Comment] This is a beautiful route with amazing pockets. The crux involves a big move to a huge bucket and occurs about 1/3 of the way up the route. Do this one if you are in the area! Jul 17, 2008
[Hide Comment] This route would feel harder if you're shorter. Big moves to really big jugs. I agree with Petsfed's comment, you really need your feet correctly, even though you could really put them a lot of places. You should be good getting to the first bolt, it's not very high and you have good holds up to it. Aug 20, 2020
