Description

This is a hand crack with nice moves, but a hollow flake in the crack makes it a route to avoid (or toprope)

Protection

light rack (and either a toprope or a soloist's frame of mind)

seems like it's a loose hefty oblong flake trapped inside the crack that rattles to make that rock section sound hollow, to sound worse than it actually is. the lip of the main slanting crack thereabout is solid

easiest walkoff is to climber's far right, down easy ledges and through a boulder tunnel to wrap back around to frontside Jul 24, 2017

A fun route, but the hollow flake (which isn't so bad) makes it a 5.7 for 5.8 leaders. Mar 23, 2007
