Access Issue: Display Discover Pass, do not block gates, and park off the road
Details
DNR wants to pass on a friendly reminder to display your Discover Pass, not block any gates, and park well off the road to prevent getting ticketed or towed. Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition continue to partner with DNR on stewardship and management of the Gold Bar Boulders and their access sites. Learn more about getting outdoors on DNR-managed lands on our website:

Description
Sit start on jug and right pinch, move up using holds on either side of the arete. Route finishes up and right on slopey holds.
Location
Park in the east lot and walk back down the road ~10-15 feet till you pass a big boulder on the left, a trail starts from here and works up into the east forest. Follow the trail (staying left) past some boulders (including Stinking Slopers) till the trail becomes blocked by logs, step around the logs and look for a trail to your left. Follow this trail to another group of boulders, the route is on the elephant boulder....hidden up and left out of view above a cool looking heel traverse line.
Protection
Crash Pad and a spotter would be nice.
