Description [Suggest Change]

An awkward exit from an alcove (crux) leads to a hand crack, and then to some easier steep face climbing. This route is in shade most of the time.

middle section of the wall

Was glad I did this on top rope. Off-width at bottom resulted in a strenuous climb up through the chimney. Looks like a BD #4 Camalot should protect the bottom. Once out of the chimney and onto the face it becomes true to the 10a grade. I give the bottom a 10d, but that's coming from a 5'7" climber who doesn't particularly enjoy off-width. Apr 26, 2010

with good technique or beta I'd say bottom is easily 10b and im 6'1" its just the right combo.of features to make it a hard pull and above is even a little thin but solid 10a Mar 13, 2013
