This climb seemed hard for the grade, but then again I've never been a fan of offwidths. The finishing crack on the right wall was a lot more fun. It was also very short, but would be a nice climb if only 50 feet longer. May 8, 2011

Silkworm is ~100 feet left of Smooth as Silk. It's a large left-facing corner with a clean, 1" crack on the right wall and a wide, grainy crack at the back of the corner. You can't see the 1" crack from the road. A few stemming moves & you're up on the slab above. A lot of approach & scrambling for a short route. See photo. Oct 12, 2009
