Description [Edit]

This is excellent, begin just right of Old'n. Smear up the right side of a smooth slab using cool finger pockets. Finish by working up left to Old 'n's anchors.

Location [Edit]

It is just to the right of Old'n on Quarry Wall.

Protection [Edit]

4 bolts to a 2 bolt anchor (last bolt and anchor are shared with Old 'n.

4ft slings highly recommended at the anchors. Apr 14, 2008

Was I terribly off route here or something? There are 5.10s in RRC that I thought were easier than this thing.

TR'd a line a little to the right of the bolted line after leading the bolted line that was easier, but it didn't seem on route. Nov 9, 2014
2-4 ft slings for the anchor got our rope over the ledge as Will stated. Definitely is a 5.8, but you have to be comfortable with smearing, hence the name. Apr 18, 2018
