This is a really great warm-up if you haven't done pockets for a while. Also a perfect New Climber route. When looking at the Pocket pow-wow wall, just look right(east) at the rounded arete. Nov 22, 2010

Took my friend up this for his first lead. There's great holds for teaching someone to lead. Oct 13, 2012

Really fun climb with good exposure for a beginning lead climber, also a great-warm up. Lots of positive holds. If you're belaying a beginning lead climber be attentive as a fall when clipping up to the 3rd bolt may result in a ledge ground fall if there's just a little too much slack in the system. This is one of the best easy climbs in queen creek. Well protected with 5 bolts which is hard to find on easy routes. Jan 30, 2018
