Description

This is an obvious hand crack through an overhanging wall on the left side of Apple Cider Wall. The crux comes about halfway up at a bulge. It is a little dirty, but it is still a very good route.

Location

This is on the left side of Apple Cider Wall with large rocks at the base. Originally, the tree with slings around it at the top was used for an anchor and descent.

Per Ben Kiessel: there is now a two bolt anchor with chains and Mussy hooks at the top.

Protection

Cams up to 3", some larger sizes could be useful.

One of the better crack climbs around Durango. No move is that hard, just kinda thuggish overall. Does get a little sandy with rain, but it is East A. Sep 21, 2011

Currently my fav trad route at East A. - short, stout, get your pump on, and get ready for Creek season. Jul 23, 2014

Hey, I got 0.3 C4 stuck on this today, I'm coming back for it!

Edit: Dang it, someone got it already! If you're feeling kind enough to return it I'd gladly buy you your favorite six pack. Jan 20, 2018
