Fun face climbing up a short wall. A tiny catcus is growing out of a hold past the second bolt, and will scratch your belly when you make the moves going past it.

The start of this route is extremely well hidden behind a shield of foliage. Some pruning was required for my ascent on 5-29-06, and I suspect some more could be done. The route is on a slab to the right of a short crack, 10' to the left of a tree growing 12 ft up out of the cliff. To face to the left of the crack has two lines of bolts, very close together.

4 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor which is directly above a crack (Edmond's Crack 5.10+).

If you are looking for this route on my pictures it is called Sticker Shock, I believe. Jan 11, 2013

There are no plants left underneath this line anymore, and apparently the ground is feet (!) lower than what it used to be. Dyno-ish start for me.

The poor little cactus is gone from the slab. There were spider nests in the hole it left and other holds around it. Have fun! Nov 10, 2013
