Description

As Linda mentions below it looks like the bolt ladder is gone. A few of the holes need patching, and I will get out there to do it as soon as I can. In the mean time, check out the sweet boulder problems just left of the former bolt ladder.

Biners and Aiders are all you really need.

This used to be a great aid practice problem. The only time I climbed it the 1st move was a hook in an empty hole followed by ~4 1/4 inch studs (some of them were bent down slightly) with the last one driven vertically down on the top of the boulder. For how short it was, it still packed a punch and resembled what you might find on an old wall route somewhere.

Sometime later I noticed that all the studs were gone and replaced with fat bolts and hangers. While easier to aid now, it does not replicate the kind of old funk you are likely to encounter on most walls. Have these bolts & hangers been removed now? Oct 25, 2007
