Start behind some bushes near a hand crack. Face climb up somewhat chossy rock to the top of the wall.

This climb is near the center of the Left Flank, right of Morning Glory (see photo).

9 bolts to 2 rap rings over a nice big ledge. Use a 60-meter rope.

I think this route is the second to the right of the obvious crack. There are two ring anchors at the top and a nice ledge to stand on when cleaning the anchor. Last person up will need to safely untie, thread through the rings, and retie the rope to lower-off; this is something to consider if climbing with a beginner. Dec 31, 2015

Some of the rock on this wall pulls off easily so tap your holds before you put weight on them. Apr 1, 2013

As of 09-09-12 the routes "Morning Glory" and "Bushwacked" are listed/oriented correctly in the Echo Cliffs database. Sep 10, 2012
I believe the location descriptions for Morning Glory and Bushwacked are reversed on this site. According to the Santa Monica guide, Bushwacked is the face-climb immediately left of B-line and Morning Glory is the (harder IMO) climb that "starts behind bushes just right the hand crack". Both are rated 5.9 in the guide, but Bushwacked is definitely easier and way more fun. The (awkward) climb that starts just right of the crack is my least favorite climb on Left Flank. Mar 10, 2012

"Morning Glory" is more sustained and not as closely bolted as "Bushwacked." Although the climb was established in 2000 and has seen considerable traffic, it remains choosy making it a headier lead than "Bushwacked." Dec 20, 2010

I thought this was 5.9, as stated in the guidebook. Mar 11, 2009
