Description

Zit Slab is the first crack system left of the three Deception Cracks. Start in a corner with jams and face moves to a small ledge. Launch up the upper crack with great jams and huge buckets to the cliff top.

Possibly the best route of it's grade at West Elden.

Descent - Rap from anchors atop the Right Deception Crack or scramble down 4th class terrain to the right of PMC.

That's funny Darren; must have been what I did too! I'm sure the rain and thunder didn't help. Will look next time. Aug 17, 2012

they were there when we did it about a month ago. They are climbers right on the ledge at the top. I missed them too, built an anchor right underneath them, and found them as i was breaking down the anchor... Aug 6, 2012

Does not appear to be an anchor as of summer '12 (unless I was in a big, big rush and missed it). Plan on rapping from Right Deception Crack rap hangers. Aug 4, 2012
