The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This route is a variation of sorts to "The Orc." Follow The Orc until it is possible to take a crack out the right, traversing 20+ feet over to the route "The Troll" before heading up that crack to finish.

Three times as good as the orc. Or at least 3 times as much climbing. Tcus on the traverse and an exciting, grainy, mantle finish, well above your gear. Jul 27, 2007
