Orange Tapestry

5.12b, Sport, 60 ft (18 m),  Avg: 3.2 from 10 votes
FA: Troy Mayr and Rob Mulligan, 1988
California > San Bernardino… > Running Springs… > Keller Peak > (h) Hungover Wa… > Hungover Wall > Hungover Wall - Left…

Description

Steep but positive horizontals lead to a powerful crux at the second bolt, and higher at the fourth bolt, you're faced with insecure moves as you struggle to get established on a steep slab which is then followed to the anchors.

Excellent rock and a variety of intriguing moves make this one of the classics of the wall; definitely recommended for those who climb at the grade.

Location

Just left of More Punk than Funk up a beautiful orange face.

Protection

6 bolts, sport anchors
