Description

A one sequence wonder (but a heck of a sequence) leading to an enduro section. Easy but good at the end. Slightly overhanging, crux holds are half to full pad.

Location

Left side of the rock just right of the Obscured By Clouds dihedral and the Aurora Blues arete. Cleanest blankest section of rock with a well defined plate at mid-height.

Protection

Bolts.

"Human arrogance was cholera’s advantage: Paris, for example, was completely unprepared for its arrival in March 1832. Bizarrely, in the evenings, the elite dressed up as corpses for “cholera balls,” the inspiration for Edgar Allan Poe’s “Masque of the Red Death.” Shah writes that “cholera killed them so fast they went to their graves still clothed in their costumes”—a detail consistent with the typical onset of cholera’s diarrhea after midnight, followed by massive dehydration and death within hours..."

I would say --> talk to Hathaway before you do anything. Jan 30, 2010
Pretty sure that bolt is fine. Fell on it a bunch this spring. It spins because it is a rawl 5 piece. These bolts did this a lot even a short time after they were installed. Try tightening it down but I wouldn't replace it for another 20 years or so. If you do decide to replace it, you should check out how to do it as these can be pulled and the hole reused. Search mp.com and you will see how people pull them. Jan 30, 2010
