Gate Buttress Area Recreational Lease: Climbs on Church Buttress above vault remain closed Details

Though the views up there are yourself a favor, and just admire this one from afar.

Start in the obvious offwidth with old bolts at the top. Continue up the wide, dirty, debris filled dihedral and slabs to the large Pine tree in the "notch". Head right to a single rap off a pine...(no slings as we just wrapped a rope around a pine)

Standard Rack, little bit o iron, and a shop vac.

Could you tell me about the section that required aid/how much of it? Also, how long was the off-width and what kind of gear did it take? A #5? A #6? Apr 30, 2016
Some research shows that (as we figured) the first pitch was shared with an older route. Mar 10, 2010
