Description

Reunion is located on the crystal covered face just left of the Varicose crack. You can start from the ground in the middle of the face (harder) or start on the arete to the left, moving up and right to the first bolt.

The route is pretty runout, and has only two bolts, the first of which is quite a ways off the ground. If you choose lead this, be very careful and don't fall! As mentioned in the comments below, you can always traverse to the right and put something in to the Varicose crack to lighten up the runout.

Protection

Two bolts, big eyebolt and couple of glue-ins up on top.

Location

The route is located on the south face of the AMC Boulder, about 10 feet left of Varicose (big fat crack).

I TR'd it and thought it was a great climb. Tiny pebbles spread out just enough to keep it fun. 2 bolts are still there. First one is a spinner. Nov 25, 2016

Two bolts are intact as described in the photos. Protection can easily be added midway between the bolts by an easy traverse to Varicose--removing the R rating. Fun 5.8! Mar 23, 2008

The bolts on this route have been chopped. This route is now a toprope and is located to the left of the big "Varicose" crack. Fun thin moves. Mar 15, 2006
