Description

Fun face climbing on good edges. Crux comes at the third bolt.

Location

The leftmost route on the south side of the crag. Starts just right of a tree.

Protection

4 bolts to 3-bolt anchor. Chains are rusty and could stand replacement.

[Hide Comment] Chairs are super rusty and suspect even though the bolts holding them in to the rock seem solid and don't spin. I used a quickdraw to the 3rd bolt just to be safe. Super fun climb, crux definitely just before you clip into the third bolt- although this guy I went with who is 6 foot did it no problem. For me, 5'4", it required a bit more thought on how to get up past the crux. Loved it though. Sep 2, 2015

[Hide Comment] This was the first outdoor route I ever ran. The local REI takes people here for their "Intro to Outdoor Rock Climbing" class.

It's possible to setup TR if you keep walking around to the right and then scamper up behind The Dude Abides. Current bolts at the top are solid, but the hangers spin. Jun 2, 2018
