The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Climb
Chapter 7 to about the halfway point, place some gear, and then cut left into runout, grainy scoops leading to the top.
Although
the upper portion of this route is runout, the crux comes soon after leaving the crack and as long as you keep a cool head it's not too bad. Descend down the left side of the formation.
