Description

This excellent face climb follows the arete on the summit block of Eagle Pinnacle. Traverse over to the start from the right side of Sunkist Face. The rock is excellent and the moves are really fun. However, the crux move, 15 feet above a ledge, is totally unprotected.

Protection

one bolt, and perhaps a tied-off knob

I seem to remember approaching this route by heading up to the top of NE Gully, then down the other side, with tricky moves to gain the platform. The last section of this route is sensationally exposed. Feb 24, 2006
