Slung knob. Really glad I had some alpine draws with me on this sport route. The runout caught me off guard.

A few chihuahua sized blocks left side of the slab look ready to blow, saw a few beginner climbers without helmets go for these and they're flexing. Submitted to high desert climbing alliance for decision but worth cleaning on a high traffic easy route.

[Hide Comment] After the 5th bolt there is a 40 ft run out of 5.4 climbing. Enjoy Sep 11, 2011

[Hide Comment] Like 419 said, super run out on the moderate portion. I clipped the last bolt of dancer just so I didn't have 80ft of deck potential. Fun though! Sep 6, 2016

[Hide Comment] You can place stoppers on the left up high if you want pro and don't traverse into dancer. Apr 17, 2017

[Hide Comment] The Watts guide has this traversing across into Dancer instead of finishing up through the runout. The direct line is more obvious, but massively run out if the leader doesn't bring stoppers. May 14, 2018

[Hide Comment] This route has fantastic glue-in hardware, but the 4th bolt is starting to show signs of rope-wear on its left side from the rope getting hung up on it while lowering. Please try to be cognizant of this and adjust the rope if you see that happening so that we can extend the life of the route's hardware. Those glue-ins are a pain to replace Aug 21, 2022
