The best route on The Peanut. Fun, knobby, slabby, and well protected are the best ways to describe this route. This is the leftmost route on the slab.

holds on the bottom of the route have been climbed so often that they are becoming polished Apr 12, 2009

I agree with Gates that the crux is getting to the 1st bolt. Fun crimpy moves, pinching knobs and crystals, as the route gets steeper as it ascends the left side of the Peanut before a slabby finish. Jun 28, 2010

The crux is definatly getting to the first bolt. Above there is plenty of fun and safe climbing to the anchors. Jul 13, 2010

first bolt is pretty sketchy. Recommend stick clipping. Feb 16, 2015

open sequence is tricky, holds are smooth from so many climbers. Highly recommend a stick clip for first bolt. Otherwise enjoyable. Apr 15, 2017
Climbed this two weeks ago - seemed like every other bolt was loose and I was unable to hand tighten. Aug 26, 2018
