Meathook is basically the direct start to Left Eliminator.

The original Holloway version (V-a million?) started below the obvious underclings and somehow got into them without using the dihedral to the right. Dave Twinam managed to repeat this with the use of the dihedral, after getting beta from Steve Mammen. Mammen was also the first to repeat the upper half starting from the underclings off the boulder to the right, which Holloway called "Cheathook" (V9).

Optional pad, spotter.

This is a sick problem. I have Cheathook down, and I’m working Meathook now, I would love some beta. Oct 23, 2006

I've looked over this problem many times. Kinda funky looking line. I was talking with Scott Blunk a while ago who show'd me the starting holds. Obvious, far left sloper under a mini-roof and a far right sidepull crimp that looks like it might have been glued back on? Has anybody actually sent this rig since the FA? Mar 7, 2015
