DescriptionHike into the Lower Satellites to the Best of Boulder County (BBC) Boulder. 101 Conquistadors is a short lip traverse across an undercut boulder (back behind the BBC) to an incredible crossover move to a finishing jug that allows you to pull over.
When you arrive in the alcove at the back of the BBC, imagine sliding down the top of the Turning Point slab like it were a slide. This will put you about 5 feet from the start of 101 Conquistadors. Sit start on the far left in the obvious place and traverse right using heel-hooks across the lip of the undercut boulder to a final mediocre edge. LOTS of tension will allow you to crossover 3+ feet with your left hand to reach the good jug and pull over the top. Fun, but not much to look at.
