Directions: On Hank's Boulder, see approach info for the route "Hank's Lunge".

The arete right of "Fuck You Finger" and left of "Hank's Lunge". Short little problem but great fun. Start sitting with hands bearhugging the arete.

Flat landing.

The standard topout goes straight up after hitting that jug. But traversing left at the jug may be a fun variation. I'll have to try that next time. Jan 12, 2004

After hitting the jug above the starting holds, does this then take the arete traverse leftward across the top of Hanks? If so, the traverse itself is V3/4 and extremely fun. If you cannot do the harder start, try jumping to the jug and starting. Jan 12, 2004

There are two ways to do this, from a sitstart, or start standing with a left hand on the better sidepull crimp. I believe the sitstart is V5, and the standing start is V4. Nov 25, 2002
