Description

Clip the fist bolt from the slab, then step down and hop on. Crimps, edges, and steep climbing on compact, fine grained rock make this a beatiful route. It shares the last bolt and anchors with Groom (5.9) to the right. It is pumpy and steep for the grade. Watch out for a few loose flakes and holds at the start.

Protection

5 bolts.

Location

Bride is the left route on Wedding Rock in the Lion's Den.

[Hide Comment] What a great route! Fun and consistent climbing with awesome views. One of the steepest 5.7s around. Aug 16, 2003

[Hide Comment] All I will say is that a couple of the bolts are pretty far apart for a 5.7 climb. Yikes! Oct 26, 2015

[Hide Comment] Great 5.7 climbing on a near vertical face. I found the runout between bolts 3 and 4 to be pretty significant, so this route will challenge a new lead climber. Jun 10, 2019
