Description

Route No. 1 on the beta photo, fairly easy face moves lead to a thin, bolted (!) finger crack that underlies a roof with some tricky, balancy moves at the grade. The 'thank God' jug is not there, so go for what you can get.

Protection

6 bolts and a 'peg' with Fixe Ring Anchors at top.

[Hide Comment] Maybe there is a bolt or two too many, but this pitch is relatively clean and has two distinct cruxes with two distinct types of climbing. Aug 2, 2007

[Hide Comment] I thought this was a great route. True about the bolts; could have used gear for the middle half; but still very good. Sep 29, 2007

[Hide Comment] Really enjoyed the varied climbing on this route. If cleaned up a bit, it would be excellent! Has a bit of face and crack climbing with laybacking through a bulge up top. There's a nice runout between bolts 4-5(?), but it looked like several solid options for gear in the crack in between. Climbed it just clipping the bolts and was ok but might not be a good sport lead if at your limit. A fall in the runout could be ugly. Jun 29, 2020
