Description

The obvious, short bolted face to the left of Red Eclipse. This is a great route for the beginning climber, or beginning leader. The bolts are close together, the first one is practically on the ground, and the rocks and trail to the left provide a veritable sidewalk next to the route.

The anchors and all of the bolts can easily be reached from 4th class terrain to the left. Beware of loose rock near the route!!!

Love it or hate it, most sport climbing areas offer slim pickings below 5.9, so many will find this route a welcome offering.

What a great climb to get new climbers started on. It's hard enough to scare them just a bit, but once they start looking, there are bomber hand holds everywhere. Short, sweet, 'n' easy. Apr 21, 2014

A great first lead. Bolts are close together and easily visible from any belay stance, allowing for instruction/correction if needed. Wide, solid ledge at the anchors. The lefthand hanger at the anchor spins freely, though the bolt seems solid. Mar 9, 2015
