Dirt roads reopened as of June 2014 Details

Description

This is the clean low angle slab to the left of Kim on the Rat Brain. It is a little runout, but what 5.4 slab isn't? It is a nice introduction to friction.

Protection

2 bolts, eyebolts on top.

Very easy, a little eerily runout. However, this is a great climb for those of you who don't feel comfortable leading the other routes but want to top rope them. Jul 5, 2013

This was pretty casual, but take care if you are not comfortable without big positive handholds. (Spoiler!) The climbing gets easier after the second (last) bolt, but you get into crater territory near the top. Jun 20, 2010

Using the bolts at the top of this climb you can also top rope some excellent face climbing just to the right of this route that is higher angle. There is no designated route description, but it pushes the grade to 5.6 just for variation and to add to the challenge. Jun 29, 2009

Easy slab, and lots of fun. One thing my partner and I tried was to climb it without hands. if you're bored with Fantasia and the others, try it! May 19, 2005
There is also a bolt on the face. Feb 28, 2002
