Description

My partner, Chris H., worked this one out for me. Start at the right side of the Cat's Eye face in the classic crack. Traverse the Cat's Eye face just off the ground. A crux comes dropping around the first arete. Keep feet off the dirt as one traverses beneath the bulge into the start of Mr. Spock. Finally crank up this final arete.

Protection

Spot for the Mr. Spock finish.

Funny, the original name of the "Cats-eye Wall" was the "The One Arm Wall" because all of the problems were suppose to be done one armed. From the arete to the corner and back; up the "Cat's eye" (now MUCH! easier since the back of the box shaped hold out left dropped out) and etc.,etc.,etc., ... We didn't even give them a "B" rating because they were just a warm up traverse and not really a "problem." Jan 4, 2002
