Start Ray Honed just to the right of the large block but off the ground. Ray Honed is a clip-up with pebble pinching on slippery and delicate feet. No Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ray Snead, however, has out-slabbed just about anyone on the planet including Arnold. This is fun route by a dedicated climber with gobs and gobs of experience. Personally, I'm a skinny guy and Ray isn't, so walking a mile in his shoes was a kick and a real lesson in foot-work.

Half a dozen QD and something for the double bolt anchor at the top.

Putting in a green and purple cam above the ledge allowed me to traverse left and belay from the fixed rap and larger ledge- much more comfy and quick than building an entire anchor and belaying directly above this line. Aug 9, 2009

This fine route has only 3 bolts and no anchor at the top. Bring some stoppers and #0.5 Camalot to set belay on top. Use anchors on Catchin' Rays or Sedimental Journey to get down (4th class to either set of anchors from top of this route). Sep 15, 2001
