Description

There is an inviting line up a stepped left facing dihedral just a few feet L of Urinalysis. This certainly could be called a variation to Urinalysis but it does not share an inch of the route. Aim just L of the clump of 3 trees 50-60 feet up. Dry tool up past a perfect opening in the crack/dihedral stepping up. From here you can go directly up gingerly on marginal tool placements and thin edges for your feet to the next ledge or angle L and up to a couple horizontal cracks. Move back R on to the same ledge using the fattest ice of the route. Move up this next bit of the dihedral with some excellent rock edges on the R and thin ice on the L. Some of this inch thick ice easily detaches. The final bit fires up this last rock face/dihedral using a broken off ice pillar and a root and moss sticks to mantle on the ledge with the 3 trees. 60 feet?

Protection

Hmmm...A top rope? Pins, perhaps....

Toprope Protection

Slings for the 3 trees at the top of the first bit. You will have to rap to get to these trees. From these trees, it can be done easily with 1 50m rope.
