Description Suggest change

South Clear Creek Falls is a great climb for beginner ice climbers as a toprope or for those starting to lead. It's about 23 miles from Creede. Look for the signs. The approach takes about 7 minutes to the top of the falls or 15 minutes to the base. Snowshoes are recommended.

Protection Suggest change

This climb is so straight forward and simple, you could easily get away with 3 screws.

Toprope Protection Suggest change

A large tree growing out of the creek above the falls works perfect as an anchor.
