I clipped six bolts, not four, before the chains. The first one is pretty high, but the climbing is very easy to that point, with the possible exception of the first move off of the ground if you happen to be short. Jul 26, 2015

Fun route. Definitely a little run out to the first bolt but there are plenty of good holds to get you there. Crux is probably finding your way through the bulge about halfway up...good holds are there you just have to find them. If you go right just past the bulge there is a nice finger crack. Almost 5.10. Good time. No gear needed, but I plugged a small cam between the last bolt and the anchors, just cuz I could. Jun 11, 2013

Great great route, gorgeous sticky rock with all the right holds when you find them. The bolts are well placed (though I never like a high first bolt). Superb view from the top, very satisfying, and the rock makes for superb footholds while being a bit hard on the hands. Oh, and it can deliver some fantastic abrasive scrapes if you eff anything up. Great route with high first bolt but very easy to get to so no worries; follow the obvious jugs until you get to the fun crux! Jul 17, 2006

Fun Route! Great for the emerging 10a leader. Plenty of solid jugs and good pro. shade before noon. Jul 17, 2006
