FA: FRA Pokey Amory, Conrad Anker 1986
Utah > Wasatch Range > Central Wasatch > Big Cottonwood… > Autumnal Wall

Description

Stay Left For Numbers climbs the left-most part of the face meandering to the left arete for the overhanging section. The beginning is kind of on a left-facing corner.

Protection

Stay Left For Numbers has 2 bolts for anchors. These are recent additions and the climb used to continue past these anchors, on the easy shattered slab until the dead tree was reached. They do make for an easy exit and belay.

[Hide Comment] The 5th bolt is missing a hanger, but it's not a terrible run out to the next bolt.

I thought this climb was pretty damn hard for a .10a. I'm not good at judging, so I won't try too, but I've OS'd a few 5.10s in bcc, and I couldn't even finish leading this one. Oct 5, 2014
[Hide Comment] If you were climbing the bolted line that goes up the arĂȘte, that would be Fine Arete, 11a. Oct 7, 2014
